APP CHALLENGES EASTER COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

It’s wonderful that you’ve decided to enter our Easter promotion (“Promotion”)! To help you Win Wonderful with Mercury, we’ve put together the following terms and conditions (“Terms”) which you’ll need to agree to by entering the Promotion:

The Promotion

1. The information posted on our social media on how to enter a specific Promotion will form part of these Terms. But if there is an inconsistency between these Terms and the Promotion Post these Terms will prevail.
2. The promotion period runs from 10:00 am 28 March 2024 to 9 pm 1 April 2024 ("Promotion Period").
3. A lucky winner will win a Samsung Bespoke Jet™ Elite Extra 210W Stick Vacuum.
4. Promotion prizes (“Prize”) are not transferable or redeemable for cash. If for any reason we unfortunately can’t provide the prize, we’ll give you another prize of the same (or greater) value.

Eligibility and How to Enter

5. To enter this Promotion, you must be a Mercury customer, living in NZ, aged 18 years or over and signed up to Mercury’s Rewards.
6. Employees and contractors of Mercury NZ Limited, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
7. To enter the Promotion, download our Mercury App (if you haven't already), log in with your Mercury My Account details and opt in to Rewards. Successfully complete at least one of the “BE IN TO WIN A SAMSUNG STICK VACUUM” Challenges as set out in the “Earn” section of the App during the Promotion Period to go in the draw.
8. The details for each applicable Challenge, including how long the challenge will be available for (each a “Challenge Period”) will be detailed in the “Earn” section of the Mercury App for each Challenge.
9. Each time you successfully complete an Easter challenge within the Challenge Period, you'll get one entry in the draw to win a Samsung Bespoke Jet™ Elite Extra 210W Stick Vacuum.
10. Mercury is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, servers or providers. Nor is it responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Promotion, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this Promotion.
11. We want our Promotions to be fair for everyone, so if we receive any incomplete, illegible, ‘hacked’ or fraudulent looking entries on any of our wonderful Promotions, we may not be able to accept that entry.

Picking the Winner

12. All eligible entries received during the Promotion Period will go in the draw. The winner will be randomly drawn within five working days of the end of the Promotion Period.
13. If you're the lucky winner, we'll notify you by phone or email within seven days of the prize draw using the contact details associated with your Mercury account. If you cannot be contacted by us within seven days, Mercury may choose to redraw another winner at its discretion.

Privacy

14. We’re committed to protecting your privacy. We’ll only collect and use your details for the purposes of running each Promotion.
15. To access or correct your details, get in touch with us. Mercury’s Privacy Policy will apply.
16. If you win one of our Promotions, you agree to participate in any publicity generated by Mercury (or Mercury’s marketing partners) and agree to the use of your first name and the initial of your surname for promotional purposes. We love sharing good news!

Privacy

17. We do our best to make our Promotions wonderful, but sometimes things can go wrong. However, if something does go wrong Mercury and its suppliers will not be liable to you for any loss or damage (including personal injury) that you might suffer through participating in the Promotion or winning (or not winning) any Prize.
18. Occasionally, things happen which are outside of Mercury’s control, and we may have to change or cancel the Promotion or these Terms.
